Becky Saeger is responsible for building Schwab’s business and managing Schwab’s public face through its brand and reputation, leading Schwab’s marketing and the Schwab Foundation. Saeger is responsible for the "Talk to Chuck" brand platform and advertising campaign credited with playing a key role in Schwab's business.
Prior to joining Schwab in 2004, Saeger was a member of the executive management committee at Visa USA, where, as head of marketing, she was responsible for brand strategy and all of Visa’s advertising, promotions, direct marketing, e-commerce and sponsorship marketing. She launched her career in advertising at Ogilvy & Mather New York, managing international advertising campaigns and supporting new product launches for clients American Express and Unilever.
Saeger currently serves as chair of the ANA. She is also a member of the World Congress of Sports advisory board and serves on the marketing committee of the San Francisco Symphony. She is the CMO ambassador for the Ad Council’s Campaign for IAVA—Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of American. In 2010, Saeger was honored as “Advertising Woman of the Year” by the Advertising Women of New York and was named one of the “Most Influential Women in Business” by the San Francisco Business Times.
Saeger earned a bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College and her Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
