Volunteerism

Throughout the year, Schwab employees donate thousands of hours of volunteer service to nonprofits across the country. In addition, the company sets aside one week in May – Schwab Volunteer Week – to encourage involvement in community projects.

"Kids who were infants when I first started volunteering at Anchor Center for Blind Children are now five years old and moving into the public school system. It is such a powerful feeling knowing I have made a difference."
— Gina Roth, Denver

Schwab employees contribute time and talents to their communities.

During Schwab Volunteer Week, employees have worked with nonprofit groups such as Boys & Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House Charities and The Salvation Army. Employees also volunteer to assist local schools, parks, food banks and cultural centers, plus organizations that provide health, social and human series to women, children, families and seniors.
